Silence can say a lot when it is the “art of silence” as demonstrated by Brenda DeCock. As she blends dance, drama and mime she tells a story that transcends culture and language. Brenda has been studying the art of mime for over 16 years. She has established Beyond Words Mime ministry and travels extensively in the US and overseas bringing a simple, beautiful message expressed in a unique way.

As Brenda explains on her website, “Mime is the art of silence. Taking the invisible and making it visible through gestures and movements of the body. Mime, together with dance and drama … allows the viewer’s imagination to create and make the experience personal…unforgettable.”
